The Salvor hat is a nod to the inception of diving when brave men dared life and limb to rescue sailors from the hulls of ships during and immediately after Pearl Harbor. During their salvage efforts, the tune to “shave and haircut, two bits” was beat against the hull. Its recognizable tune and duet style call and return is used by many divers today to pinpoint hull locations.  We are so proud to roll out this new product!
